Start with a free conversation

From conversation to confident use

Start with the business.
Build the right next step.

Each stage gives us a clearer basis for the next. We agree what to build, what it will cost, and who approves the work before implementation begins.

  1. Discover

    Free introductory conversation

    Talk about the business.

We discuss your business, goals, and recurring work. Together, we explore where AI might help and whether Mycel is a fit.

A shared starting point. No paid commitment.

  2. Assess

    $750 consultation

    Needs assessment included

    Understand the needs. Set priorities.

We review your workflows, current tools, and practical needs, identify priorities, and provide written implementation direction.

A clear basis for deciding what to build next.

    Before the next stage

    A proposal before we build.

After assessment, we scope canon development, AI setup, and workflow integration in a separate proposal. We agree deliverables, responsibilities, and price before that work begins.

  3. Define

    A shared business foundation

    Build your business canon.

We turn your business purpose, audience, voice, quality standards, and decision rules into a written reference for your approval.

A founder-approved foundation for the work AI supports.

  4. Implement

    Tools fitted to the work

    Configure and connect.

We configure suitable AI tools and connect the workflows agreed in your proposal. We confirm which integrations your systems support and set sources, permissions, and review points with your team.

Practical workflows built around your priorities.

  5. Equip

    Testing, training & handoff

    Make the work yours.

We test real examples with your team, refine the setup, and document how to use it and where its limits sit. Training and handoff happen in client-owned accounts.

Your team keeps the setup, source materials, and operating guidance.

  6. Refine

    Optional continued support

Keep it useful as things change.

We can help with reviews, troubleshooting, and workflow refinement as the business evolves. Any additional workflows or integrations are assessed before work begins.

Support shaped around what your business needs next.

Clear scope throughout

Software subscriptions are separate. Your proposal confirms implementation and integration costs. Optional ongoing support is agreed separately.

Founder, Mycel Group

Austin Barnhart

I bring an operator’s perspective to AI. The work comes first; the technology serves it.

01 / Operating background

Start with the business.

My background is corporate consulting and operational performance, with a focus on leadership, profitability and the mechanics of how work actually gets done. That experience shapes every question I bring to AI: What is the business trying to improve? Where does the work stall? What would let the team move with more speed and more confidence?

02 / Hands-on with AI

Learn by building.

I’ve spent years working with these tools directly: organizational models, operating dashboards, executive agents and assistants, documentation systems, and the workflows that connect them. That practice is where the judgment comes from. It’s how I know where the tools are reliable, where they need structure, and what it takes to turn a capable model into a dependable part of a business.

03 / How I work

Clarify the business. Then build the workflow.

I work across the leading AI platforms and stay neutral among them. The right tool follows your purpose, your existing systems, your budget and your information needs, not the other way around.

Every implementation begins with definition. Together we write a business canon for your approval: purpose, audience and value, operating principles, voice, quality standards, and the decision and approval rules that govern the work.

From that reference we build task-specific instructions and templates, test them against real examples, and refine together, keeping human judgment at the points where it matters.

What you keep is everything: the configured setup, the canon, reusable materials, documentation and training, all in accounts you own. We agree how the canon stays current, and any ongoing support is scoped before it begins.
